We are seeking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant on behalf of our successful client, based in Co. Mayo
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
* Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
* Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
* Maintain and update accounting records and files.
* Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
* Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documentation.
* Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Utilize accounting software for data entry and financial analysis.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Criteria for the Role:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Experience with accounting software is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
