Job Description
We are seeking a highly-motivated Support Worker to join our team in Cork.
* Contract Type: Permanent, temporary and relief contracts available
* Contract Hours: Full time (39 hours per week), Part-Time & Relief
* Salary Scale: €32,639 - €39,499 pro rata per annum
Annual Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum pro-rata, and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
About the Role
The Support Worker role involves working as part of a dedicated team to provide person-centred services to children and adults with disabilities who attend Enable Ireland Services.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
* Essential Criteria:
o QQI Level 5 Major Award in one of the following: Healthcare Support, Social Care, Pre Nursing or Childcare (8 modules to include one module on special needs/disability studies/challenging behaviour or a commitment to complete one of these modules within 6-months of commencement)
o SNA Qualification
o Year 1 of a relevant degree programme in Health and Social Care (such as Social Care, Child Care, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech & Language Therapy)
o Full Clean Manual Driving Licence and willingness to drive company vehicles
o Eligibility to work in the state
* Desirable Criteria:
o Experience of supporting people with disabilities
o Experience of working with people with behaviours of concern
o Basic IT skills
