Junior Finance Assistant - 12 month contract
Salary €27, per annum
Reporting to the Payroll and Finance Executive, the purpose of the role is to assist in checking and processing expense claims and ensure that expenses deadlines are met in accordance with key financial controls.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the processing of all domestic and overseas expense claims.
2. Assist in the checking and verifying of expense claims.
3. Managing and monitoring staff charge card balance.
4. Updating staff records in the Financial Management system (Centros) such as vehicle insurance details and other as required.
5. Assist the Payroll and Expenses executive in providing support to staff in the form of advice, training, and assistance on expenses.
6. Support the Payroll and Expenses team and the Financial Management team as necessary with other tasks when required.
7. Provide support as required to the Senior Accountant.
8. To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process;

11. To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks that can arise on occasion and contribute to the overall functions of Financial Management
Essential:
12. Previous experience in finance department
13. Accounting/Finance qualification
14. Excellent attention to detail
15. Ability to work well under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
