About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Principal Software Engineer in Test to join our team supporting Contact Centre applications. Your work will focus on ensuring the delivery of high-quality, stable, and user-friendly products that enhance the customer experience. This role involves testing across various domains, including IVR functionality, APIs, automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and performance/capacity analysis. Beyond test execution, you’ll contribute to building robust frameworks that elevate platform efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead functional, API, and UI testing efforts, ensuring robust coverage.
2. Develop and maintain automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
3. Perform performance and capacity testing to ensure platform scalability and reliability.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system requirements and designs for testability.
5. Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and enhancements.
6. Leverage technical expertise to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve the testing process.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
2. 7-9 years of experience in Software Engineering or Quality Assurance.
3. Strong expertise in UI and API testing, including web services testing.
4. Hands-on experience with automation tools (Empirix Hammer/CallMaster is a plus).
5. Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing tools.
7. Ability to analyze functional and technical designs, mine test data, and enhance scripts/code.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Telecom experience is a plus.
2. Exposure to cloud-based solutions and chaos testing methodologies.
About the Team:
You’ll be part of a Center of Excellence (COE) focused on Quality Engineering within the Enterprise Customer Contact Center (EC3). The team comprises skilled engineers specializing in functional testing, performance testing, cloud migrations, CI/CD, and application development. Your role will directly support Contact Center applications, including voice, API-based, and cloud solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, stability, and customer experience.
