Finance Manager

· 3+ years PQE
Your responsibilities as Commercial Finance Manager:
Project Budget Management
1. Set, track, and update project budgets with the Commercial & Accounts team.
2. Monitor performance, flag variances, and ensure budgets align with CVR reports.
3. Keep financial reports in sync with project profitability expectations.
4. Oversee invoicing and payment applications, ensuring seamless processing.
Sub-Contractor Administration
1. Onboard new sub-contractors, ensuring compliance and documentation.
2. Register and track subcontracts, keeping records up to date.
3. Monitor payments, retention releases, and cash flow with Commercial & Accounts teams.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
1. Support PQ prep, PO issuance, and procurement coordination.
2. Match invoices to POs and ensure accurate cost allocation.
3. Assist with month-end reporting, accruals, and financial reconciliations.
4. Optimize balance sheet management, minimizing WIP & debtor days.
Your requirements as Commercial Finance Manager:
1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
2. 3+ years PQE in finance or commercial roles within construction
3. Proficient in all Microsoft applications
4. Strong team player with excellent communication skills
5. Inquisitive, entrepreneurial mindset; exceptional multitasker
6. Confident self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude; quick learner with growth potential
