Job Title: Litigation Legal Secretary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Legal Secretary to provide support and administrative assistance to our litigation team in Dublin.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic and progressive law firm. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a busy legal secretary role, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Transcribe dictation and maintain accurate records
* Filing and archiving documents, including sorting, scanning and formatting briefs and pleadings
* Diary management and arranging meetings, as well as maintaining calendars and monitoring trial dates
* Preparing declarations, contracts and other legal documents, including billing and cheque requisitioning
* Corresponding with clients, experts, counsel, solicitors and witnesses
Requirements
* Prior experience in litigation
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
