Looking for a role where you can use your understanding of legislation, HR knowledge and personal initiative to provide a high-quality customer service and support to all levels of the business in their relevant area?
Do you have a proven background in delivering strong outcomes and building excellent relationships?
If so, we have an opportunity for a People Advisor to join our People team in the Dublin area.
This role will be based from home a couple of days a week but with travel to stores 2-3 days a week. Travel may be required to support managers in store, which will involve travel to head office in the UK and Irish Head office in Cork occasionally. Any element of travel may involve overnight stays, including during the induction period for a trip to Basecamp and a trip to Cork Head Office.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
* Experience of delivering supportive advice provided to colleagues across the business throughout the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
* Case documentation and administration is completed promptly, accurately and is saved in the correct location.
* Potential employee relation cases identified, and risk minimized through proactive updates with managers within relevant business areas.
* Effective support provided in meetings and throughout processes with relevant and commercial guidance provided to managers considering employment law, and company policies and procedures.
* Legal team, senior management and People Partner kept updated and involved as necessary to remove any potential risk and negative impact on the business.
* Managers fully competent in managing absenteeism with sickness minimized through monitoring frequency, contact, home visits, occupational health referrals/GP reports and full consideration of reasonable accommodations.
* All colleagues fully aware of absence/leave procedures and where to find help when needed, including proactive promotion of wellbeing and mental health support.
* Quality and efficient administrative customer service provided through People Support team.
* Regular ideas and updates in legislation provided through frequent participation in various learning courses and seminars.
* Division/Department Support and Projects.
* Trusting working relationships with management, providing input and insight, having a credible influence and adopting a sounding board role.
* People initiatives and processes implemented with operational needs and colleague experience in mind.
* Business change e.g. restructures, redundancies, TUPE, changes to T&Cs/processes, implemented smoothly and efficiently with transparent user-friendly communication and in line with company values.

As our future People Advisor you will have:
In-depth knowledge of Irish employment law, contractual rights, records management, data protection and the Company’s policies and procedures. Experience of working in a confidential HR/People environment preferably gained in a retail or logistics environment.
Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication standards.
General awareness of financial constraints and impact of current business performance on budgets and P&L, adopting a responsible approach to costs.
Ideally Level 5 CIPD qualified, with a score of in the 400 in the leavers cert, or equivalent.
