Role/ Department: As part of Northern Trust's Global Threat Technology team, the Azure Dev Sec Ops Engineer will have an emphasis automating workflows, and managing cloud-based resources with a keen focus on integrating security into DevOps pipelines.
The Dev Sec Ops Engineer will also play a crucial role in executing Northern Trust's cloud security strategy, as part of a diverse, multicultural team.
The key responsibilities of the role include: Implement, manage, and optimize infrastructure automation using Terraform for cloud environments, including network, storage, compute, and monitoring resources.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and PowerShell to manage cloud resources, security controls, and CI/CD pipelines.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and management of infrastructure.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security policies and best practices into CI/CD workflows.
Certifications in AWS, Azure, Security, or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, CompTIA Security+).
Expertise inAzure/AWS servicesincluding Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, and Monitoring.
Experience in Dev Sec Ops, cloud automation, and infrastructure management.
Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for scripting and automation.
Experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools such asTerraform,ARM Templates.
Experience in setting upCI/CD pipelinesfor cloud-based infrastructure deployments.
Experience using Git and other version control systems.
