Job Summary
This Housekeeping Supervisor role is a key position within our team, responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and hygiene of our Nursing Home. The successful candidate will work closely with residents and colleagues to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Training and Supervising Staff: Provide guidance and support to housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring they meet cleanliness standards.
* Scheduling and Organizing Shifts: Manage employee shifts and arrange replacements in cases of absence.
* Inspecting Work Areas: Conduct regular checks on rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
* Handling Customer Complaints: Respond promptly to customer concerns and special requests, ensuring satisfaction.
* Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock to ensure availability.
* Ensuring Compliance: Uphold safety and sanitation policies across all areas.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Effective communication skills at all levels
* English language proficiency for resident and colleague interactions
* Good teamwork and organizational skills
* Garda Vetting clearance required
* Dessired: Experience in caring for the elderly, health and safety knowledge
