Financial Controller Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our financial operations in County Kerry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
* Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
* Lead the preparation of financial statements, audits, and tax filings.
* Manage financial risk, controls, and internal financial procedures.
* Support strategic planning, including profitability analysis and cost control.
* Oversee the finance team and provide guidance and training as needed.
Requirements:
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Minimum 4 years of experience in financial services or with relevant industry based experience.
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and risk management.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
