Top Oil has a vacancy for an Assistant Manager. The position is based in our Top Oil Service Station in Naas, Co. Kildare.
Primary Purpose of the Role:
The Assistant Manager will ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively and provide our customers with the very best customer service and fresh food offering at all times in a clean, safe environment. To deliver on key store targets through effective management of people and operations.
The Job:
* Management of all recruitment & selection/training & development requirements for the store
* Support store manager in the day to day operations to ensure a smooth and efficient running of the site
* Ensure the store is operating safely at all times
* Ensure all staff are fully trained
* Build and maintain high sales and profits
* Investigate and respond directly to customer complaints
* Operate within the guidelines of the law at all times
* Meet set targets with regard to food costs, labour costs, customer counts and mystery shopper
* Ability to plan and prioritise
* Flexibility is key in this role as you will be required to work a mixture of days, evenings, weekends and nights
* To complete any ad hoc administration duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the store
Experience and Qualifications
* A minimum of 2 - 5 years Store Management experience in the Catering/Hospitality/Quick Service Food industry is required
* The ability to inspire, lead and motivate employees through support and development
* Ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
* Customer focused, innovative, motivating and energetic are key attributes required for this hands on role
* Excellent organisational and team leader skills, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude towards work
Personal Characteristics, Knowledge & Skills
* People Management experience is essential
* Develop and maintain a good team spirit with all store staff
* Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanour
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to follow Health and Safety regulations
* Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work harmoniously with people at all levels within the organisation
