An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Controller to join our client, a leading technology group headquartered in Ireland.
This dynamic and fast-paced organisation is experiencing rapid growth in Dublin West and is offering this role on a 12-month temporary contract with a highly competitive salary and excellent hybrid working options.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will lead a team of five highly skilled finance professionals, overseeing finance operations, compliance, financial reporting, analysis, strategy, and stakeholder management.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Financial Controller with group-level reporting expertise, strong leadership and management capabilities, and the ability to navigate complex financial processes in a high-growth, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities Oversee group structure reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
Manage the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, maintaining high standards of financial reporting.
Lead group consolidations across three entities, including intercompany reconciliations.
Conduct detailed variance analysis on revenue, gross margin, and operational costs, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Oversee financial integration's following acquisitions to ensure smooth transitions.
Work closely with key business stakeholders to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.
Provide strategic financial insights to support the company's long-term growth and direction.
Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors.
Act as the primary contact for external stakeholders.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team of five professionals.
Key Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a minimum of four year's experience in a senior financial control role at group level.
Proven experience in group-level consolidations and financial reporting.
Strong expertise in group close processes, intercompany transactions, and audit management.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience guiding high-achieving teams.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
