Base pay range
Performance based salary dependant on experience up to €40,000 with a 20% shift allowance for working night shifts.
About Your New Employer
* Our client is a fast growing new start up paper production company that have been set up in Kells, Meath.
* As a Mechanical Technician you will be working with complex machinery within a small dynamic team which will allow you great opportunities to advance your mechanical learning and to progress your career.
* For this role you will be required to work a 3 shift pattern including morning, afternoon and nights.
About Your New Job As A Mechanical Technician
* As a mechanical technician you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and clean working environment and carrying out work in a safe manner.
* Perform root causes analysis of problems and suggest process improvements.
* Maintain systems for spare parts stock and ensure system is being correctly utilized.
* Deliver continuous improvement activities by developing equipment setup practices and troubleshooting guides for operators and/or skilled craft. Improving documented maintenance practices and records.
* Carry out Preventative Maintenance work as required by PM schedules and suggest improvements where needed.
What Skills You Need For Your New Job As A Mechanical Technician
* A mechanical background and mechanical experience would be highly beneficial for this role.
* Availability to work 3 way rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, and nights).
