We are currently seeking a Hotel Manager to join the team at Farnham Estate.
The Hotel Manager plays a key role in overseeing all operational departments, ensuring seamless day-to-day functioning and an exceptional guest experience.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Hotel Manager leads teams, implements strategic initiatives, and upholds the Resort's luxury standards while maximising financial performance and operational efficiency.

Role/Responsibilities: Operational Leadership & Quality Assurance Direct and manage all departments throughout the hotel, including but not limited to Front Office, Accommodation, Food & Beverage, Golf, Spa and Leisure.
Monitor present and future trends in the hospitality industry to ensure the hotel remains competitive.
Conduct regular property inspections, ensuring maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to brand standards.
Implement and oversee health and safety regulations, emergency procedures, and quality control measures.
Act as Duty Manager when required, ensuring smooth hotel operations at all times. Deputises for the General Manager in their absence.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence Drive exceptional service standards and ensure a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure.
Handle guest concerns professionally, implementing solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Oversee VIP guest experiences, ensuring special requests and expectations are met.
Leading the team to deliver a proactive and guest-focused approach.
Financial Performance & Revenue Management Assist and develop budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to optimise profitability.
Monitor and control all departmental costs, payroll, labour expenses, and stock management.
Identify revenue-generating opportunities and implement strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
Analyse financial reports and take corrective action where necessary.
Team Development & Human Resources Lead, mentor, and develop department heads to ensure a motivated team.
Support recruitment, on-boarding, and team development in coordination with HR and our people strategy.
Conduct performance appraisals, training sessions, and employee recognition programs.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, including grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and succession planning.
Sales, Marketing & Business Development Assist in creating and delivering marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and sales strategies to enhance occupancy and total revenue performance.
Develop and implement guest retention strategies, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with the Sales and Revenue Management team to optimise room rates and packages, impacting on total revenue and profitability.
Administrative Oversight & Compliance Oversee cash handling, staff rosters, payroll approvals, and cost management processes.
Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements within the hospitality industry.
Manage insurance matters, conduct daily safety checks, and oversee crisis management procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation for operational processes and compliance audits.
About The Role Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management.
