Chief Administrative Officer - Role and Responsibilities
The objective of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of Blackthorn Agency. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working at a senior or executive level for a similar company. A Master's degree is desirable.

1. Planning Budgets:
Ensure business operations adhere to budget
Negotiate supplier rates and oversee expenditures
Perform regular financial audits
2. Facilitating Change:
Develop and integrate transformation programs
Respond to opportunities, threats, or issues
3. Complying with the Law:
Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory laws
Create and update quality standards and policies
Implement internal protocols for compliance
4. Mitigating Risks:
Recognise, grade, and eliminate business risks
Develop and implement risk management programs
Communicate risk information to relevant teams
5. Overseeing Human Resources:
Oversee HR functions impacting operations
Create performance evaluations and identify skills gaps
Negotiate contracts and delegate responsibilities
6. Developing Relationships:
Build strong relationships with suppliers and partners
Align objectives with customer needs
Implement customer relationship management systems
7. Planning Strategy:
Develop and implement plans to improve business functions
Outline operational goals and measure progress
Address specific issues and adhere to business values
8. Managing Daily Tasks:
Provide general management assistance to departments
Develop and implement plans and budgets for specific projects
9. Benchmarking Metrics:
Set and measure progress metrics for continuous improvement
Provide investors with performance motivation and transparency
This position is full-time, 40 hours a week. Working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday in our office located in Donnybrook with the potential for hybrid working. Salary is €36,000 per annum starting. Please send your CV and cover letter if you meet these criteria.
