Senior Automation Engineer
Lead digital and automation strategies across CAPEX projects, ensuring alignment with global engineering standards and project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and execution of automation strategies, envisioning long-term project success and aligning with global and site-specific goals.
* Project Execution: Implement automation systems, including PCS, MES, and IT-OT integration, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with digitalization and automation functional leads, ensuring seamless integration of solutions across various project streams.
* Stakeholder Management: Liaise between program management, global teams, and external vendors to align priorities, mitigate risks, and maximize opportunities.
* Technical Oversight: Manage a team of automation and MES experts, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to the project's execution roadmap.
* Reporting & Communication: Develop and implement a communication strategy to keep stakeholders informed about project risks, mitigation strategies, and progress.
* Vendor Coordination: Oversee vendor selection and management, defining clear scopes and deliverables for internal and external teams.
Experience:
10+ years in automation and digital services, with significant expertise in life sciences or manufacturing.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in L2/L3 automation technologies (PCS, MES, PLCs, Fire & Gas, BMS, and IT-OT integration) and strong understanding of digitalization strategies and their impact on business transformation.
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders, with experience in change management and stakeholder engagement at all organizational levels.
Soft Skills:
Strategic thinking, financial acumen, and the ability to align technical initiatives with business objectives, along with excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
