GPC Finance are working with a long and well established firm of Chartered Accountants in Co. Kildare. Due to continued success, they are now expanding. This is an exciting time for a Qualified Accountant to join an experienced and professional team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, a strong understanding of Irish accounting standards, and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Irish GAAP and IFRS.
* Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll taxes.
* Conduct regular financial audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
* Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
* Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as necessary.
* Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Thorough understanding of Irish GAAP and IFRS.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
