Job Description:
The Member Services Support Assistant works to a high standard providing a range of services to support the efficient and effective operation of the Member Services Support team and the wider business. Deadline for applications for this role is the 13th April 2025.
The exact mix of tasks required for any one individual will vary depending on the business needs. Typically, tasks will include those related to outbound & inbound communication with Ibec’s membership base – this can consist of telephone and/or email communication; scheduling; database/data management and record keeping.
Assignment to an area of work may be subject to change in line with business needs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Activities/Responsibilities:
The mix of tasks and the associated volumes will depend on the mix of campaigns at any time– the following list is illustrative of the nature of the work and is not exhaustive:
* Outbound call & email campaigns [to Ibec member & non-member companies]
* Inbound call & email campaigns [to Ibec member & non-member companies]
* Reporting & maintenance of records related to all campaigns undertaken
* Updating of data systems [e.g. Dynamics] relating to campaigns
* Research/preparation of data as required
* General database maintenance & record keeping as specified
* Ad hoc projects as they arise (Finance / surveys)
* Participation in team meetings
* Participation in Ibec systems & process training as required
* Campaign process creation
* Communication/interaction with internal Ibec clients
* Response to requests for documentation and web-based information
* Formatting documents, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Preparation of documents, reports, and submissions

Qualifications
* Post leaving certificate qualification
Knowledge base
* Understanding of delivering service excellence to member companies and Ibec staff
* Knowledge of information communication and web technology for service delivery
* Knowledge of Ibec and its services to members
Work Experience
* Outbound call management experience
* Previous experience in a busy environment where initiative, flexibility, customer service and organisation skills were demonstrated
