Trinity College Dublin- an introductionPost SummaryThe School of Medicine invites applications for the post of Research Administrator (5 years fixed term, full-time contract) based in the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, Pearse Street, Dublin 2.
The Research Administrator will work with the School's Research Impact Officer and School Manager to co-ordinate research activities across the School and to act as the main point of contact for those wishing to engage with the School on research matters.
In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders and for providing administrative support to the School's research community across College and our affiliated hospital sites.The Research Administrator will have knowledge of the College's and School's research strategies and will proactively link with key stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of research strategy.
This will involve working across the School of Medicine and other relevant Schools, with Institutes/Centres (e.g.
the Trinity Translational Medicine Institute (TTMI), Trinity Centre for Neuroscience (TCIN), CRANN, HRB Wellcome Clinical Research Facility, Mercer's Institute for Successful Ageing (MISA)), affiliated hospital sites and relevant College Offices (e.g.
TrinityInnovation, Research Development Office and Research Contracts Office).The School of Medicine aims to be a leading research-intensive institution that fosters life-long learning in its graduates in preparation for postgraduate training.
