We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Fund/Client Accounting Representative I to join our Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Dublin, HYBRID (three days in office per week)
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Prepare and review reconciliations between different fund accounting systems
Investigate and clear outstanding cash and asset reconciling items on a daily basis.
Process portfolio activity for investments and perform various controls around portfolio activity and valuations
Ensure all relevant transactions have been identified and accounted for correctly at each valuation point for all funds. Escalate items where necessary
Track lifecycle events for Private Equity Instruments from initial set up to closeout; taking into account capital flows, distributions, expenses and gains or losses over the lifetime of the asset
Compute and account for Market Value on Private Equity or Statement based positions
Prepare Client reporting as required and liaise with client as necessary
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
An interest in a career in financial services
Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Finance university background or similar field will be an advantage, however we equally welcome graduates of all degrees
Proactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to consistently meet deadlines
PC literacy, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Some experience in the fund administration business is desirable but not essential
The ability to learn quickly and to grasp the intricacies of complex instruments particularly Private Equity.
