The Student Services Office The Student Services Office delivers a wide range of non-academic supports and services to the student body.
It also acts as a 'First Stop Information Shop' where students can get answers to a wide range of questions and queries including signposting to a host of other services delivered by the university.
The office operates an open-door policy and students can call in anytime - they do not have to make appointments.
The office mantra being; 'If we can't help you ourselves, we are sure to know someone who can'.
The office is home to over 85 clubs and societies and all student led events are also managed from this location.
In its efforts to best serve the student body, the office has high engagement with various functions throughout the university.
Maintaining excellent working relations with both internal and external stakeholders is key to fulfilling its role.

About the post: The Student Services Office is seeking to fill the role of Student Services Co-ordinator - Societies.
The successful candidate will join the Student Services Team which delivers an A-Z of non-academic/out of classroom supports and services to students.
This unique role offers an opportunity to provide administrative support to the university's student led societies.
The role involves working closely with the student body in the planning, organising, and roll out of events and activities for all societies in addition to their budget allocation, spend management and reporting deliverables.
It also includes supporting the merchandise offering to students and the Bahrain student exchange programme.
Located in the Student Services Office at the university's main campus in Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, this is a fully on-site role.
Job Responsibilities: Provide a comprehensive range of services to all RCSI Societies (currently over 53 registered).
This involves supporting and overseeing a wide range of action items and activities including budget allocation, event bookings, venue hire, catering, security, purchases, payments and reimbursements in addition to providing support, guidance and problem solving to committee members in the execution of their roles.
Co-ordinate and support a host of events in Culture Month (March annually) Co-ordinate and support the activities of International Night and the International Food Fair.
Support the units Merchandise service including stock ordering and stock levels, cash handling/lodgements, auditing processes and relevant reporting, internal orders and the sourcing and delivery of new items to the catalogue.
In addition to supporting the weekly Pop Up Shops.
Support the Bahrain Student Exchange Programme including liaising and collaborating with colleagues in Bahrain and Dublin Support the development and implementation of programs, initiatives, and activities that enhance student life, engagement, and inclusivity.
Act as representative on a number of RCSI committees Attend weekly activities meetings and follow up on action items arising Support the services and activities of the Student Services Office as listed above.
