FRS Recruitment are seeking a Payroll Lead to join our client in Navan Co Meath. This is a full time, permanent position that offers hybrid working following probation.
As Payroll Lead you will oversee payroll for 350+ employees. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will manage payroll processing, compliance, and employee queries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all payroll functions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage payroll for bi-weekly and monthly employees.
* Ensure accurate processing of employee earnings, deductions, and benefits.
* Prepare and submit tax reports (PAYE, PRSI, USC, etc.).
* Train and support employees on payroll-related matters.
* Reconcile payroll accounts and manage journal entries.
* Address payroll queries promptly.
* Support compensation and benefits reviews, including salary surveys and benchmarking.
* Manage healthcare and pension renewals.
* Identify and implement payroll process improvements.
* Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' payroll experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* IPASS or equivalent payroll qualification.
* Experience with high-volume payroll processing, including use of Megapay (Workday experience a plus).
* Strong technical payroll knowledge and compliance understanding.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Info:
* Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
