Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be based in Head Office at Parkwest Business Park.
Thorntons Recycling has a number of facilities, and the successful candidate will be required to provide HR support assistance to managers and employees across all facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Filing, scanning HR records to HR System.
2. Managing new starter process, Inductions, contracts, work permits etc.
3. Respond to general staff & management HR queries.
4. Handle all employee matters consistently in line with company values with an emphasis on sensitivity and confidentiality.
5. Co-ordinate & support recruitment activities as required – placing advertisements, screening CVs, arranging and confirming interviews etc.
6. Payroll – Liaison between Payroll and HR to ensure that updates are communicated.
Contract: Initial 6 month Fixed term contract
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours
