Join our Store Support Office in Southampton and be part of a team that equips stores, people, and the business with everything needed to improve customers' homes.
Job Responsibilities
1. Integration Approach: Identify the best integration method for merchants, focusing on automation and scalability. Collaborate with merchant technical teams to understand existing e-commerce systems and recommend integration solutions.
2. Training and Support: Train merchants on B&Q Marketplace best practices, including optimization, SLAs, and reporting. Provide first-line support during onboarding, handling queries related to CSV, SFTP/HTTP, and API technologies.
3. Sales Growth: Work closely with merchants to drive early sales growth by enhancing content quality, increasing inventory, and improving product visibility through promotions.
4. Compliance and Handover: Monitor merchant compliance with SLAs and guide them to meet standards. Upon successful incubation, facilitate the seamless transition to Account Management.
5. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to creating and managing merchant training materials.
6. Operational Efficiency: Ensure long-term success for both B&Q and our merchants.
Requirements
Work Experience:
1. Substantial experience in Marketplace, Ecommerce, or Digital Platforms.
2. Familiarity with how marketplaces and merchants operate.
3. Experience in bringing clients onboard and facilitating their growth on digital platforms.
4. Knowledge of CSV, API, SFTP/HTTP, and third-party platforms/connectors (e.g., Linnworks, Shopify).
5. Understanding of factors driving e-commerce sales.
6. Previous work in a scale-up business is advantageous.
Skillset:
1. Excellent skills in managing merchants and solving problems logically.
2. Persuasive written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to Director-level audiences.
3. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
4. Maintain a can-do attitude and take initiative.
5. Thriving in a fast-paced, evolving e-commerce environment.
