BIM Designer-HV/MV Electrical, DC Design Engineering

We are looking for a BIM Designer specialising in Electrical HV and MV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creating and coordinating complex electrical models whilst linking those models with all other disciplines in a single model environment.
2. Red-lining and/or modifying new and existing plan set documentation regarding Electrical systems.
3. Preparing and developing detailed Revit models of Electrical systems.
4. Updating and modifying existing models and drawing sets as required.
5. Managing the creation, issuing and revisions of drawings & models.
6. Coordinating electrical services with all other disciplines to develop clash resolved models and export coordinated drawing sets.
7. Creating and releasing data centre and data centre substation Electrical designs in a fast-paced environment.
8. Working on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations.
9. Providing coordination support for information requests during construction phases.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 3 years BIM/CAD experience in the area of Electrical Building Design & services.
2. Experience using Revit to design and coordinate large Electrical projects.
3. Working knowledge of building engineering and construction technology.
4. Experience in developing Single Line schematics and layout drawings.
5. Experience taking drawings from conceptual design through construction documents.
6. Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems and their configuration within data centres.
7. Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling with 8+ years’ strong Revit/CAD experience in Electrical building services.
8. 4+ years' experience designing electrical systems on mission critical projects.
9. Understanding of LEAN Engineering and excellent organization skills.
10. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
11. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
