The Role
As Construction Lead, you will drive the LDA's Construction delivery, reporting to the Head of Construction.
* Focusing on Direct Delivery & Project Tosaigh projects, ensuring safe, timely, and quality-driven delivery.
* Providing leadership and management support to staff in tasks such as planning, communications, contract preparations, negotiations, and relationship management.
* Maintaining an open mindset to manage ongoing change and development of staff, stakeholders, and projects.
* Ensuring high levels of communication and coordination with stakeholders, partner organisations, designers, and contractors.
* Protecting the Agency's interests through expertise in capital works procurement and contract design.
Requirements
* Degree Qualified with at least 10 years of experience in construction/development project delivery.
* Proven track record of delivering large-scale residential construction projects on-time and on-budget.
* Experience in SHEQ obligations for construction projects.
* Proven team leadership and management skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Pre-construction experience regarding efficiency and value engineering.
* Ability to assist with strategy and input to construction aspects of proposals.
