We are currently recruiting an experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager to look after all Events and Banqueting Operations to join a 4* Hotel in Cork. This is a very well-known hotel in a super location. The role will require the effective and efficient management of all Conference, Seminar, Events & Wedding business and coordinating all day-to-day Front of House activities in the hotel during your shift. Requirements
1. Experience in managing busy Food and Beverage Outlets, Room service.
2. Candidates need experience managing Conferences, Meetings, Weddings, and Special Events.
3. Front office training is needed, with the ability to check in/out and assist in this area.
4. Must display effective leadership and team management abilities.
5. Reliable, committed, motivated, and above all, a professional person required.
6. 2-3 years of Duty Management experience in a busy 4* Hotel in Ireland preferred.
7. Work Permit is not available for this role; full legal status to work in Ireland is required.
Responsibilities
1. Manage daily operations and coordinate all areas of the hotel.
2. Lead and guide the team as required during service/shift.
3. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail.
4. Observe all shift and opening/closing procedures.
5. Provide mature leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
