**Motor Injury Claims Handler Role**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Injury Claims Handler to join our team in South Dublin.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves the proactive management of a portfolio of bodily injury and liability claims from notification through to settlement.
The successful candidate will work in a hybrid model, with two days per week in the office, and will be responsible for:
* Managing a portfolio of motor injury claims from initial notification to settlement
* Assessing policy cover and evaluating liability through investigation and analysis
* Conducting negotiations with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders to achieve fair settlements
* E nsuring claims are handled in line with regulatory requirements, including the Consumer Protection Code and GDPR
* Monitoring financial exposure on claims and maintaining appropriate reserves
* Handling litigation files and attending court hearings and settlement discussions as required
* Identifying and escalating potential fraudulent claims to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU)
* Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an efficient claims process
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A CIP qualification or equivalent (Dip CII, Grandfathered, ACII)
* Proven experience managing a portfolio of motor injury claims
* Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* A good understanding of claims handling regulations and processes
* Experience handling litigated claims is desirable
