Estimator - Civil Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our tendering department, working closely with the Bid Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Bid Manager to ensure smooth running of the bid process, encompassing preliminary design, programs, and technical proposal compilation.
* Review Tender documents to ensure completeness and participate in bid initiation & assessments.
* Coordinate and prepare bids, engaging with suppliers, sub-contractors, and 3rd parties, including equipment supply proposals.
* Compile supporting proposal documentation, such as technical proposals, equipment selection information, project delivery & management plans, and preliminary project programmes.
* Demonstrate an organized approach to deliver tender proposals within stringent timelines.
* Assist in program planning, analysis, and updates.
* Support Bid Manager in various departmental development work.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Level 7 Degree in a relevant qualification, such as Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
* Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to handle complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in using MS packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
