The business also has long-standing relationships with many of Ireland’s leading Foodservice providers.
The purpose of the role is to ensure our product specifications comply with internal and external standards. You will work closely with our commercial and operations teams as well as directly with our customers to spot opportunities and then help develop products that meet consumer needs. You will work across both our sites – the bread bakery in Finglas and the Bun Bakery in Clonee.
Responsibilities
* Ensure product specifications comply with legislative, regulatory, company and customer standards.
* Handle communication to and from our customers and ensure we respond in a clear and timely fashion involving the appropriate people in our team.
* Represent the company at external regulatory meetings as appropriate.
* Manage the Allergen matrix and ingredients on both sites.
* Support and participate in audits as required.
* Work with commercial, finance, quality and production teams to develop new products and deliver them to the market.
* Provide cover for the Quality if and as required.
* Maintain, monitor and report data to ensure we are on track to achieve our sustainability targets in relation to product development, raw material verification and clean labelling.

Skills & Qualifications
* Degree level qualification in Food Science.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the food sector at management level
* Strong scientific understanding to food and regulatory affairs and a proven track record in developing relationships with key customers-Technical teams.
* You have good Microsoft Office skills.
