Your Role:
Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Bank’s Brand & Marketing strategy within the Customer and People function to support the next phase of our customer-centric evolution. In the successful delivery of integrated brand and marketing strategies, your role is supporting the Bank in meeting our customers’ key financial needs, contributing to the long-term sustainability of our business and the strength of our brand in the market.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Lead and implement integrated brand and marketing strategies and communications plans aligned to brand, customer, and business strategies and growth objectives; drive performance optimisation and efficiencies with a data-driven approach and strong return on marketing investment.
2. Manage communications and media agency partners in the delivery of compelling campaigns that leverage data and insights and the implementation of plans aligned to business, brand, and marketing objectives.
3. Support the Head of Function in the governance and oversight of Bank-wide activities relating to brand strategy management to ensure all communications adhere to the positioning, identity, and tone of voice.
4. Aligned to the strategic priorities of the Bank, collaborate with colleagues within the Customer and Marketing team and the wider Customer & People function to identify customer growth opportunities and champion through our strategy delivery.
5. Engage and build relationships effectively with key business stakeholders across the Bank with a focus on executing our strategy to drive acquisition, customer loyalty, and enhance customer experience in the delivery of our brand promise to customers.
6. Ensure the marketing strategy and all communications are within the Bank’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements, adhering to governance and Bank processes; co-ordinate and oversee the implementation of required policies and procedures in the management of Marketing risk requirements.
7. Prepare and present high-quality papers, presentations, and marketing business cases for senior management teams and the Executive Committee when required.
8. Support the Head of Function and management team on investment and budget management; third-party agency contracts and performance reviews.
9. Lead and build a high-performance team through coaching and mentoring. Promote the most effective colleague experience for your team in a manner that creates an open, customer-focused, inclusive, risk-integrated growth culture as it relates to Marketing and the broader Customer and People Function.
Requirements:
1. Third Level Education, preferably to Masters level or equivalent professional marketing qualification.
2. 5+ years professional experience in a brand and marketing management role, preferably in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
3. A strategic mindset and strong analytical data-driven marketing skills to leverage insights and optimise performance and ROI through data-driven decision making.
4. Experience in delivering successful end-to-end omni-channel customer marketing campaigns and activations.
5. Results-oriented with evidence of ownership, delivery, and exceeding business objectives/KPIs.
6. Proven excellence in stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills to drive the brand and marketing agenda with effective decision making and accountability.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with creative flair and the ability to explain brand and marketing complexities in simple and compelling terms.
8. Exceptionally strong organisation skills with the ability to deliver a high volume of quality initiatives and hit tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.
9. Proven experience in developing and managing key third-party relationships to optimise business performance and investment.
This is a permanent position based in PTSB's St. Stephens Green, Dublin. (Hybrid option available within the Republic of Ireland Only)
