We are seeking a dynamic Product and Digital Services Manager to join our growing Technology department. As a pivotal team member in the fast-paced EV industry, you will lead the development, delivery, and optimisation of digital products and services that support our mission to drive innovation and sustainability. You will work at the intersection of technology, product development, and customer experience, shaping the future of our IT ecosystem to meet the evolving demands of the EV sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Product Leadership:
* Define the vision, roadmap, and strategy for charging and associated digital services aligned with business objectives.
* Identify opportunities for innovation in solutions to enhance EV-related digital platforms, deliver market-leading or unique service offerings, and provide a seamless experience for customers.
* Gather consumer insights to continuously improve product offerings.
* Stay abreast of technology developments in the EV sector, charging domain, and adjacent energy and digital consumer industries.
Product Development & Management:
* Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of commoditised charging services, digital offerings, and O&M services.
* Develop innovative offerings and additional revenue services such as time-of-use tariffs, loyalty programmes, grid services, and integrated utility offerings through partnerships.
* Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of digital services, ensuring quality, scalability, and user satisfaction.
* Demonstrate strong program and project management skills to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
* Monitor product performance and customer feedback, driving continuous improvements.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Work with business customers and fleet managers to understand their evolving hardware and system requirements and ensure they are incorporated into the roadmap.
* Partner with internal teams, such as Engineering, Customer Support, Sales, and Marketing, to align product features with market needs.
* Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations to deliver seamless digital services.
Drive Digital Transformation of Internal Processes:
* Automate and digitise processes to deliver chargers and charging services efficiently.
* Develop automation of interfaces with network providers, electricity suppliers and other critical suppliers.
Data-Driven Decision-Making:
* Leverage analytics to guide product design and optimisation, focusing on user engagement and business impact.
* Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in product management or digital service leadership, preferably within the technology or EV sector.
* Strong understanding of the EV ecosystem, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
* Expertise in agile methodologies, project management and product lifecycle management tools.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
