Purpose of the role: The role of the Clinical Scientist (Basic Grade) is to be part of the Cancer Molecular Diagnostics (CMD) laboratory team and participate in the delivery of an effective, efficient, quality assured and patient centred clinical molecular laboratory service, and to provide support for the development of services embracing continuous quality improvement and the management of change necessary to achieve organisational objectives.
