In response to increasing demand nationally and internationally, we are currently seeking a Mechanical Support Product Engineer for Manufacture.
About the Position
This role requires experience in product design, as well as business management and related aspects of testing, quality, and production in an NPD environment.
You will have expertise in quality procedures and prior experience working with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
Experience in the mechanical sector related to the utilities industry is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure delivery of quality products to customers in a timely manner.
* NPD collaborates closely with suppliers and clients to successfully introduce new products.
* Design and develop new products.
* Assist in component verification and validation.
* Manage product validation and certification.
* Oversee quality management of all products.
* Develop production test equipment.
* Identify and drive product and process quality and cost improvements.
* Provide support to contract manufacturers to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
* Receive, document, analyze, and process information related to new products.
Requirements
* 1-2 years of experience in R&D or Product Engineering.
* Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering.
* Knowledge of ISO9001.
* Experience with CAD.
* Material Science knowledge.
* Competency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Project, etc.).
