What will my day to day look like?
1. Reporting to the Director of client services, you will work to find new opportunities in our client base and new clients in Ireland and the UK.
2. Developing a pipeline of opportunities to nurture and stay in touch with, building relationships with them.
3. Turning these prospects into clients by understanding their requirements and businesses.
4. Working on our CRM BULLHORN on Pipeline management and lead management.
5. Researching and discovery of potential new clients we have not yet identified using LinkedIn, our database of contacts, Internet E-zines, and business segments for Discovery Phase to find potential new clients.
6. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure we are all working as a collective to achieve companywide goals.
7. Understanding the consultants capabilities to identify good new clients that suit them.
Sounds good, what do I need?
1. Degree qualified with 2+ years’ experience in a Business Development role with a desire to move into consultative sales.
2. Experience in a structured approach to business development, market mapping, qualifying leads, understanding drivers and buyer behaviour.
3. Proven ability to create and foster relationships.
4. Fluent English to native standard and a valid working visa.
5. Consultative mindset and ability to understand complex business requirements.
6. Tenacity and resilience for business development.
7. Good personality and rapport building skills.
8. Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
The base salary for this role is between €33,000 - €40,000, depending on experience. However, commission is uncapped and there is an additional bonus/commission scheme in place when you reach or exceed your yearly target.
