Flexsource are currently recruiting a F&B Operations Manager for a busy Hotel Chain in Cork.
The Food & Beverage Operations Manager, under the general guidance of the General Manager, assesses, evaluates, and ensures that long-term and short-term goals of all Food & Beverage outlets are met. This role involves directing and managing all food & beverage activities across the F&B outlets to maximize revenue, profitability, and quality goals by developing and executing marketing strategies, up-selling strategies, controlling costs, and providing quality service and products to guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with developing, implementing, and evaluating a general business plan and strategies to ensure optimum guest satisfaction, sales maximization, and profitability.
2. Conduct weekly inspections of the food & beverage regions to ensure the property is kept in the best condition, and recommend preventive maintenance to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager and/or General Manager/Deputy GM where needed.
3. Assist, plan, and coordinate in-house activities and package plans with Head Chef, Director of Sales & Marketing, and Food and Beverage Operations Manager.
4. Select and develop strategies to improve guest service, food production techniques, and efficiency.
5. Assist in the preparation of the food and beverage business plan.
6. Monitor and ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction by providing quality guest services and products within corporate standards.
7. Screen, interview, and select potential Supervisors and team members for the department.
8. Establish and maintain effective internal communications, including daily/monthly meetings with Supervisors and team members, to ensure optimum teamwork and productivity.
Requirements:
1. 1-2 Years Experience within Food & Beverage Sector.
2. 1-2 Years Hotel Management Experience.
3. Fully Flexible as the role is 5 over 7 days a week.
