Job Purpose
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your primary responsibility will be collaborating closely with the Managing Director of Ireland and his distribution leaders to provide strategic financial insights and guidance.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to provide financial expertise, insights, and recommendations to enhance financial performance.
2. Act as a liaison between the Group Finance department and the Irish distribution teams, promoting collaboration and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.
3. Month-End Closing: Lead the month-end closing activities related to the Irish distribution businesses.
4. Provide all necessary reporting and analysis required to support the Group month end close.
5. Forecasting and Budgeting: Taking a partnering approach, prepare budgets and forecasts for the Irish distribution businesses, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic direction.
6. Insights: Act as the finance expert on all initiatives in your area.
7. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the Irish distribution finance function.
8. Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings whenever possible.
9. Projects: Manage both projects and tactical initiatives, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with company goals.

* Qualified Accountant with 3+ years pqe
* Strong communicator with business partnering experience
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and a proactive approach to individual tasks.
* Demonstrated strategic financial acumen and analytical mindset.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to provide financial insights to drive business growth.
* Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and modelling.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Highly analytical and numerical with excellent attention to detail.
* Capable of working without supervision and an ability to assume responsibility and take ownership of role.
Requirements
* Salary: €85k plus benefits.
* Hybrid working, 3 days on site.
