Our team is currently overseeing an exciting new housing development in Wicklow, and we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Engineer to join us. Role Overview: As a Junior Engineer, you will work closely with our senior engineering team and site management to ensure that the development project progresses efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will assist with the day-to-day management of the site, helping to oversee construction activities, ensuring quality control, and supporting the implementation of engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Assist in site surveys, measurements, and assessments. Support senior engineers in the planning, design, and implementation of the development. Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety on-site. Assist with the preparation of reports, documentation, and technical drawings. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services. Assist with compliance checks and ensure all works adhere to regulatory standards. Help with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site. Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and planning discussions. Qualifications & Skills: A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field. Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is a plus. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. Previous experience or internships in the construction industry is an advantage but not required. Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
