Job Description
The Application Support Engineer serves as a technical ambassador for customers, driving the selection, troubleshooting, and promotion of our product line to client customer bases.
This role plays a pivotal part in the company's mission to partner with clients for life.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting Customers' Technical and Product Needs:
* Selects suitable equipment based on customer requirements.
* Creates product proposals incorporating commercial aspects.
* Develops technical equipment proposals and project proposals for customer inquiries.
* Participates in company-wide continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational growth and meet customer needs.
* Provides technical support to customers regarding process equipment.
* Identifies Relevant Products and Criteria.
* Chooses and selects appropriate application products in collaboration with supplier partners.
* Identifies key product applications, features, and potential new applications.
* Makes design selections for various applications and specifications.
* Supports the Sales team with technical expertise.
* Collaborates with the Sales team to address customer needs.
* Troubleshoots complex operational technical and product issues.
* Aids Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams in developing and conducting product training programs.
* Responds to technical and product inquiries from the Sales team and customers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
* Mechanical engineering experience or degree.
* 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Application Engineering/Mechanical/Technical sales roles.
* Proven track record in resolving customer issues through effective technical and product recommendations.
* Technical product sales experience.
* Team-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and dynamic companies.
* Valid EU passport required.
