About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to support young people aged 15-18 in a short-term residential setting.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to help young people overcome challenges and develop skills for independent living.
Responsibilities:
* Act as a key worker for individual young people, providing emotional support and guidance.
* Support young people who have experienced trauma and challenging behaviors.
* Develop and maintain individual placement plans in line with statutory care standards.
* Collaborate with external agencies to secure housing, education, and social support services.
* Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Participate in a 7-day, 24-hour roster, ensuring seamless support for our residents.
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Care or related field.
* Experience working in residential care or with children who require complex support.
* Familiarity with HIQA standards, Child Protection policies, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention techniques.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong teamwork mindset.
* Full, clean driver's license.
