Role Overview : One of our clients is seeking a Junior/Trainee Audio Visual Installer to join their team in Dublin.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to develop skills in AV installation.
The successful candidate will assist in setting up, installing, and maintaining AV equipment across various projects and events, working closely with senior technicians to ensure high-quality installations.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation and setup of audio-visual equipment, including projectors, screens, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with AV equipment.
Help with cable management to ensure installations are organised and meet safety standards.
Conduct basic testing of audio and video systems to ensure proper functionality.
Provide on-site support during events, ensuring AV equipment operates smoothly.
Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and assist in the upkeep and repair of existing systems.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand and meet project requirements.
Requirements: Basic knowledge of audio-visual technology and equipment.
Familiarity with installation techniques, cable management, and safety practices.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior staff.
Previous experience in a related field or technical training is a plus, though not essential.
