We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator/Specialist.
This role requires a candidate who has:
- IPASS Qualification
- Strong attention to detail even when multitasking
- Ability to organise shifting priorities and work to tight deadlines
Key Accountabilities:
- Processing multiple weekly and/or monthly payrolls
- Collating timesheets, holiday entitlements, and reconciling hours on a weekly basis
- Coordinating timesheet processing and managing the Time & Attendance system, including all absences
- Coordinating new hire setups, leavers, time and attendance entries, as well as various other payroll/personnel transactions and adjustments
- Providing direct customer service to employees with high-quality, professional, and timely responses to queries
- Processing all statutory payments in line with prevailing legislation
- Ensuring compliance with payroll processes and company guidelines
- Maintaining strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Income Tax, payroll processes, pensions, and other additions and deductions
- Effectively working with an external payroll provider
- Liaising with relevant authorities and various third-party providers as necessary
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of previous payroll experience
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., IPASS)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel skills, including formatting and data validation & analysis (e.g., V-lookups, IF statements, pivot tables)
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities
