Position:
Planning/Environment Lawyer
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on all aspects of planning and environmental law, including development applications, planning appeals, and compliance issues.
* Supporting clients in navigating environmental regulations, climate action requirements, and sustainability strategies.
* Drafting and negotiating agreements related to planning permissions, environmental impact assessments, and statutory obligations.
* Representing clients before planning authorities, regulatory bodies, and, where necessary, the courts.
* Providing strategic legal advice to developers, public bodies, and multinational corporations on contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters.
Requirements:
* 1.5-8 years PQE with experience in planning and/or environmental law.
* A solid understanding of Irish planning and environmental legislation, including the Planning and Development Act and relevant EU regulations.
* Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach to legal practice.
