We're currently looking for a Group Accounts Payable Lead to join our busy Finance Department.
This is a key role responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable function across the EPIC/CHQ Group of companies.
The successful candidate will provide both administrative and financial support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, while also identifying opportunities to enhance processes, particularly using technology.
Key Responsibilities:Accounts PayableVerify invoices against purchase orders and confirm receipt of goods/servicesProcess supplier invoices and credit notes with accuracyAssemble, review, and complete payments—including monthly bulk paymentsHandle supplier and internal department queries professionally and promptlyFinancial Records & ReportingMaintain accurate records through data entry, journal entries, and documentationSupport cash flow forecasting and ensure correct classification of transactionsGenerate AP aging reports and share actionable updates with the Group Financial ControllerAssist with month-end close activities and audit preparationGeneral AdminContribute to sustainability reporting by tracking and compiling data on carbon footprint and CO2 emissionsProvide admin support and assist with ad-hoc projects across the Finance teamPersonal Specification:Self-starter mindset with strong initiative and attention to detail.Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced team environmentDemonstrates flexibility to support ad-hoc tasks and a commitment to continuous enhancement of processes.Candidate Requirements:Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant/Accounting Technician.Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar Accounts Payable environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience using AccountsIQ (or similar accounting software) is desirable.Fluency in English essential.LocationThe role is Dublin based, we do offer a hybrid working environment, following the completion of the probationary period.
