Key Responsibilities
* Customer Service Excellence: Upholding and enhancing our reputation for exceptional customer service by leading a team dedicated to meeting the needs of our diverse clientele.
* Staff Management: Training and management of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Operations Oversight: Supervising the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient daily operations.
* Reservation Management: Managing reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient booking processes.
* Guest Relations: Handling guest inquiries, resolving issues, and actively seeking opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Stock Management: Efficiently managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of inventory to meet the hostel's operational requirements.
* Logging & Reporting: Accurately completing all required reports, including handovers, maintenance, guest interactions, lost property, and other relevant documentation to your Line Manager.
* Building Setup & Breakdown Management: Overseeing the setup and dismantling of the building for customer arrivals and departures.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff.
What We Are Looking For

* Proven Leadership Experience: A solid background in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, with a track record of success in team management and guest satisfaction.
* Inspiring Leadership Skills: The ability to lead from the front, set a positive example, and create a collaborative and motivated team environment.
* Strong Communication: Clear and effective communication at Senior Level with Destiny Student Team (Head Office, Destiny Management, staff) and various stakeholders in our business (Building team, cleaning and linen companies).
* Organized and Detail-Oriented: Capable of multitasking effectively, maintaining oversight of all hotel operations, and ensuring every detail is managed seamlessly.
* Computer Skills: Confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and adaptable to various software tools for daily computer work. Knowledge of hospitality software and booking systems is a big plus.
* Work Ethic: Reliability, problem-solving resilience, and exceptional time management.
* Language Skills: Strong English language skills in speaking, reading, and writing are necessary. Additional language skills, such as Spanish, Italian, French, German, or Cantonese, are a big bonus.
* Willingness to Learn: Most skills can be taught – we value your positive attitude and eagerness to grow.

Schedule
Standard 40-Hour Work Week: Your regular work schedule will adhere to a standard 40-hour workweek. Weekend Availability: As part of our operational needs, we require candidates with availability during weekends. This ensures coverage and contributes to the smooth functioning of our operations.
