Job Description
We're seeking skilled professionals to operate production and/or test equipment, complete daily work to meet established schedules, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
* Operates production and/or test equipment.
* Completes daily work to meet established schedule with guidance from supervisor.
* Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures, and applicable safety rules.
* Ensures tools and equipment are set up and operated per procedures.
* Records production information on approved document or electronic system.
* Performs basic troubleshooting on operation issues before escalating to supervisor and support team.
* May perform product testing and release.
* May assist in executing validation protocols.
* Ensures safe work practices and follows behavioural based safety guidelines at all times while on site.
* Carries out training of new employees as appropriate.
* Support continuous improvement by generating ideas and assisting in projects where needed.
Education and Qualification
* Level 5 qualification per the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or a pass rating in an Aptitude Test selected by Abbott Diabetes Care.
* Relevant work experience advantageous but not essential or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
* Enthusiastic and energetic with the ability to integrate quickly into a team environment.
* Demonstrated flexible and innovative approach to work.
* Comfortable working with computers.
