Responsibilities
1. Build on relationships with visits to Existing Customers.
2. Identifying new Prospects to gain New Business in Ocean Shipments
3. Primary focus on Ocean Freight
4. Identifying New Lanes with Existing Customers
5. Lead Generation – Taking note of companies in Business Parks & attending Expo’s
6. Industries to target, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Agricultural and Retail
7. Follow up on Quotes to acquire Sales / Feedback
8. Calculate Rates and Prepare Proposals for Presentations
9. Work as part of a Sales Team and prepare Quotes and Book up Shipments for all Customers
10. Prepare Reports weekly/monthly for Sales Manager.
11. Maintain a High level of Customer Service and respond to Quotations in a timely manner.
12. Time Management – plan day/week/month with Efficiency
Skills and Experience
13. At least 3 Years of industry sales experience
14. Strategic leadership ability
15. Proven track record in achieving sales targets
16. Strong presentation skills
17. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
18. Effective planning, organizational and monitoring skills.
19. Effective time management skills.
20. Ability to work independently as well as working effectively with a team.
