The Role Based at Carroll's Cuisine in Tullamore, the successful candidate will take accountability for the achievement of all production and business targets across the site.
This role requires the prioritisation of all activities linking to production, engineering, H&S, technical, supply chain, finance and people.
The role will also take full responsibility for developing the site's leadership team through appropriate delegation and coaching and will work closely with the wider Sofina Leadership team to ensure business success.

Key Accountabilities Translate the business strategy into a 'living plan' for the Site which can be clearly understood and owned by the Site leadership team.
To develop and achieve all agreed financial plans and budgets.
The identification of improvements to process and plant capable of improving site efficiency.
Where appropriate, the considered request and utilisation of capital to achieve auditable goals.
To establish coherent governance to maintain control and transparency over all people/projects/processes to achieve expected Site performance targets.
To include the utilisation and cascading of KPI's to guide PIPs; The creation and maintenance of a working environment where individuals feel able to continually challenge the status quo, embrace change consistent with the company values and are encouraged to make decisions in driving continuous improvement.
To drive the delivery of the highest quality food safety standards throughout the factory to ensure the development of a 'Quality' culture.
Ensure standards of hygiene and good housekeeping appropriate to a quality food manufacturer are maintained (GMP).
The development and maintenance of a safe working environment ensuring that production areas comply with the standards set out in the SHE Policy (including the environmental objective) and by the Site Health & Safety Manager.
To drive the Company's CI/MANEX agenda ensuring the utilisation of standard problem-solving techniques and the effective implementation of considered improvements.
Skills And Experience Required Of graduate calibre with an appropriate and visible level of competence in critical reasoning.
10 years' experience of running large complex, FMCG operations.
High-risk ready-to-eat (RTE) food manufacturing experience an advantage.
ROI retailers, own label development and manufacture, technical management (of short shelf life products) and be used to managing complexity.
Have experience of Lean / 6 Sigma or other CI methodologies.
The appropriate qualification certification in H&S and Food Hygiene.
Evidential competence in Performance Management, Planning & prioritising, flexibility and change management, problem solving and decision making, leadership, communicating with impact, strategic thinking, customer awareness and commercial acumen.
