Environmental Consultant - EIA
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 DOE
A respected Irish consultancy operating at the forefront of environmental services is seeking to expand its renewables team with the addition of a driven and capable Environmental Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business supporting some of the country’s most high-profile renewable energy developments.
The role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects including solar farms, onshore wind, and battery storage, giving the successful candidate the chance to broaden their technical expertise and grow professionally in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Position:
This role will suit someone with at least two years of relevant industry experience. The consultant will support project delivery through a mix of fieldwork and desktop analysis, contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and liaise with key stakeholders. The position is hybrid, with a base in Dublin and some nationwide travel for site surveys.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the preparation and coordination of EIA chapters and other technical documents
Assist project managers with research, data analysis, and reporting
Undertake environmental surveys and interpret results
Monitor relevant environmental legislation and planning guidance
Support client communications and liaise with regulators and subcontractors
Attend project meetings as requiredThe Ideal Candidate:
Degree-qualified in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an environmental consultancy or similar environment
Strong understanding of EIA processes and relevant Irish legislation
Skilled in technical report writing and data analysis
Comfortable balancing office-based tasks with fieldwork
Excellent communication and time management skills
Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in IrelandWhat’s on Offer:
