Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Salesperson to join our team, specialising in fencing sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of fencing materials and installation processes.
Responsibilities:
* Sales and Customer Service: Engage with customers to understand their fencing needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of various fencing materials, including timber and metal railings and security fencing. Provide product expertise and guidance on material selection, ensuring customers are fully informed.
* Order Processing: Manage customer orders from initial inquiry to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
* Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure product availability.
* Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and competitor products to provide valuable insights and maintain a competitive edge.
* Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships. Resolve any issues related to orders, returns, or product defects in a professional and timely manner.
* Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining acceptable profit margins.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in construction or hardware/building materials industry, preferably with knowledge and familiarity with fencing materials and installation techniques.
* Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
* Education: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software. A degree in business or a related field is an advantage.
* Other: Valid clean driver's license.
